What the weather does here
Inland and reasonably sheltered. The wear here comes from age and previous repaints rather than weather — many of these houses carry six or eight coating layers, some of them oil-based and some of them failing.
Worth knowing
The Subiaco specific bit
Narrow side setbacks and shared boundaries mean scaffolding and access are a genuine cost on a Subiaco exterior, and a quote that ignores them is a quote that will change. We price access up front. On pre-1970 homes we also test for lead in the existing coating before any sanding, because it is common in this stock and the containment requirements are not optional.
