The instant estimator and the photo estimate produce an indicative price range. They are not offers, they are not quotes, and they do not bind CREST to a price.

Both work from information you supply — room counts, areas, the condition you select, or what is visible in the photos you upload. They cannot see what is behind the paint. Substrate failure, previous coatings that need stripping, water damage, asbestos-containing materials, lead paint on pre-1970 work, structural repair, access restrictions and rectification of another trade’s work are all common, all material to price, and none of them are visible to an online form.

A binding price is only ever given in a written quote issued after an on-site measure. Where the two differ, the written quote governs.

Prices are built from a fixed rate card applied to the areas and preparation level you select, adjusted for ceiling height, access and paint tier, then presented as a range of ±22% around the midpoint. A minimum job value of $950 applies. All figures shown exclude GST unless the page says otherwise.

Rates are reviewed periodically and can change without notice. An estimate produced today is not held open for any period.

When you submit a photo estimate, your images are analysed by an automated system to identify surfaces, approximate areas and the preparation each one appears to need. That analysis is then priced using the same rate card as the interactive estimator — the automated system does not set prices.

Automated image analysis makes mistakes. It can misjudge scale, misread a surface, miss damage outside the frame, and be misled by lighting or photo quality. Treat the result as a starting point for a conversation, not as a measurement.

Photographs you upload are processed by a third-party AI provider outside Australia. See the privacy policy before uploading images of your property, and do not upload photos containing other people, documents or anything you would not want leaving the country.

Colours shown on this site are reproductions. Screens differ in calibration, brightness and colour gamut, and no screen reproduces a paint film accurately. A colour will also read differently on your wall than on a chip, changing with the light through the day, the sheen level, the surrounding surfaces and the size of the area.

Do not select a final colour from this website. Confirm every colour against a physical sample applied to the actual surface, viewed in the actual room, before work begins. Repainting because a colour was chosen from a screen is not a warranty claim.

Any duration shown — days on site, start windows, completion dates — is an estimate based on typical crew throughput. Weather, substrate drying times, access, trade sequencing and variations all move real dates. Nothing on this site is a commitment to a date.

Project images show work completed by CREST at specific properties. They illustrate finish and workmanship; they are not a representation that your property will look the same, cost the same or take the same time. Before-and-after images are unedited beyond cropping and standard exposure correction.
